pic At Nazareth Lutheran Church We Believe and Teach:

God the Father created all things and that He is the preserver of all things.

The Bible is the Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and therefore true and without error.

The Good News that God's son Jesus Christ, is our Savior from sin, death, and the devil and that He suffered and died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and rose again that we might live in heaven with him.

We are saved by faith alone and not as a result of any good things that we might do.

We have been saved by God's grace, therefore our lives are filled with activities that give glory to God and that serve Him and other people, which are expressions of our thankfulness and gratitude.

The church is the fellowship of believers in Christ and is the organization God uses to preach and teach His Word and bring people into His Kingdom.

Holy communion is a gift by which our Lord gives us His true Body and Blood together with the bread and the wine for the forgiveness of our sins and the strength to live the Christian Life.

When our pilgrimage on earth is over and God brings out earthly lives to an end, our souls will be received into heaven there to dwell with him in joy and bliss until the resurrection when our bodies and souls will be reunited and perfect happiness will continue for all eternity.

Get Involved Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.
-Matthew 9:35-37
